Eagles at Sphere Las Vegas: 2026–2027 Dates and What Fans Should Know

An Eagles concert is a chance to hear a catalog that has traveled with fans for decades. At Sphere in Las Vegas, the music is paired with an enveloping screen and a sound system designed to fill the entire room. If you are weighing a trip, this guide explains what makes the Eagles residency different, which dates remain, and what to check before you go.

What is the Eagles concert at Sphere actually like?

One of the most interesting things about the Eagles’ show is what it doesn’t try to do.

Sphere gives artists a 160,000-square-foot visual canvas that can surround the audience. Some residencies have used that technology almost relentlessly. The Eagles take a comparatively restrained approach.

When the residency opened, the Los Angeles Times described the production as less visually elaborate than some earlier Sphere shows. Rather than turning every song into a technological demonstration, many Eagles numbers use atmospheric landscapes and imagery that complement the music.

That fits this particular band surprisingly well. Songs such as “Lyin’ Eyes,” “Tequila Sunrise” and “Peaceful Easy Feeling” do not necessarily need a spaceship flying over the audience. A desert landscape, night sky or slowly changing environment establishes a mood without competing with the harmonies onstage. Other moments take much greater advantage of the room. The contrast is part of the show.

What songs do the Eagles play at Sphere?

Minor setlist spoilers ahead.

The residency has maintained a remarkably hit-heavy show. Recent 2026 performances have generally included Eagles standards such as “Hotel California,” “One of These Nights,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” “Take It to the Limit,” “Witchy Woman,” “Peaceful Easy Feeling,” “Tequila Sunrise,” “I Can’t Tell You Why,” “New Kid in Town,” “Already Gone,” “Life in the Fast Lane” and “Take It Easy.”

The show also reaches outside the Eagles catalog to include songs by individual members, including Don Henley’s “The Boys of Summer” and “The End of the Innocence,” along with Joe Walsh material such as “Life’s Been Good,” and “Rocky Mountain Way.” The September 18, 2026 concert ran roughly two hours and ten minutes and followed that general structure.

Setlists can change from night to night, so none of those songs should be treated as guaranteed, but this Eagles residency is not built around deep cuts. It is largely a celebration of the songs that made the Eagles one of the defining American rock bands of the 1970s and beyond.

Who is performing with the Eagles?

The current touring lineup centers on Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, joined by Vince Gill and Deacon Frey. That configuration allows different voices to move through a catalog originally recorded by several Eagles lineups.

Deacon Frey performs material closely associated with his father, Glenn Frey, while Vince Gill brings his own voice and musicianship to the group. Joe Walsh’s songs also give the show some of its biggest changes in personality, moving from meticulously arranged Eagles harmonies into harder-edged guitar rock. That variety helps a two-hour residency show feel less like a greatest-hits playlist and more like a walk through several eras of the band’s history.

Where should you sit for the Eagles at Sphere?

This is where our separate Sphere Venue Spotlight becomes especially useful.

At most concerts, fans naturally assume that closer equals better. At Sphere, that isn’t always true. For the Eagles in particular, there are two different things you may want to see: the band itself and the production surrounding the band.

Lower seats and the floor put you closer to the musicians, which is attractive if watching Henley, Walsh, Schmit, Gill and Frey perform is your priority. Farther back, particularly from more central reserved sections, it becomes easier to take in the enormous screen as one complete composition.

For many concertgoers, centered seats in the 200 or 300 levels represent an appealing compromise: close enough to maintain a relationship with the stage while far enough back to absorb much more of the Sphere imagery.

There is one caution I would emphasize much more strongly here than on a normal concert page:

Watch for limited-screen-view seats

Some seats toward the rear of the 100 level sit beneath an architectural overhang.

The stage can still be visible, but the upper portion of Sphere’s screen may not be.

That distinction matters because the enormous screen is part of what you’re paying to experience. Before purchasing, read the disclosure attached to the exact ticket listing, not merely the section number.

Is Eagles at Sphere worth making a trip to Las Vegas?

For an Eagles fan, this residency offers something that another stop on a conventional arena tour cannot quite reproduce.

The songs are familiar. The band is familiar. But the room isn’t.

And that may be the most effective thing about this particular residency.

The Eagles have not tried to turn every song into a technology demonstration. Instead, Sphere enlarges the landscapes and imagery that have surrounded this music for decades—the desert, Los Angeles, highways, night skies, Hotel California and the mythology of the American West—while a sound system built for extraordinary clarity puts the band’s harmonies at the center of the room.

The result feels less like the Eagles abandoning the kind of concert they’ve always played and more like that concert being placed inside a new world. For fans who have seen the Eagles before, that may be reason enough to see them again. For fans who never have, there probably isn’t another Eagles performance quite like this one.
